What is DexRay

DexRay is built and operated by Nicolas Schaerer, based in Switzerland — see the Impressum for the operator record and Privacy for how contact details are used. It is a one-person data project, not a company with a trading desk or a tip service behind it.

The site tracks NFL and NCAAF (college football) betting markets: cross-book sportsbook odds, a de-vigged consensus closing line for every game, and how that line moved from open to kickoff. Alongside the sportsbook side, it watches Polymarket — the on-chain prediction market — and grades individual wallets on whether their trades actually beat the market's own closing price. Three things make DexRay's data different from a typical odds site. First, a forward-collected NCAAF closing-line archive: DexRay snapshots cross-book consensus odds roughly every 30 minutes, keeping the first snapshot it saw for each game as that game's opening line and the last one before kickoff as its close — openly downloadable on the Open Data page, which shows the exact row counts and date range as of today. Coverage is front-loaded on the weeks closest to now and grows as later weeks post; every game that has already kicked off has a close on file. That is a different collection method from a closing-line archive assembled after the season — DexRay's own Leaderboard separately draws on one such existing public archive, CollegeFootballData's 2–4-book provider-median close, for a separate CLV column — not a claim that DexRay's is the only NCAAF closing-line data anywhere, only that it is collected prospectively, cross-book, as the lines post. Second, dual-close wallet grading: the Leaderboard scores every graded Polymarket wallet's closing-line value against both the sportsbook close and the Polymarket close, with a bootstrap p-value behind each verdict rather than a raw win-rate ranking — the exact test is written out on Methodology. Third, a pre-registered house strategy: DexRay's own NFL strategy was sealed with a gate and kill criteria before it traded a dollar, and its results are graded in public, week by week, on the House page.

What DexRay is not: it takes no bets and holds no customer funds or wallet keys, ever — any wager or trade happens directly with a sportsbook or Polymarket, under that venue's own terms (see Terms §4). It does not sell picks framed as advice: Pro and API subscribers get model signals, but every signal is released on a fixed public schedule with a held-out control, set out and graded against the House page's own gate — nothing goes out as a naked recommendation without that public accounting attached.
